What services do you offer?

I offer a variety of services, including facials, makeup, lash enhancements, brow services, waxing and more. For a detailed list of all services I provide, please visit the "Services" section on our website tab.

How can I determine which facial treatment is best for me?

If you're unsure which facial treatment is best for you, I recommend starting with"Signature Facial" which is suitable for more skin types and offers a great introduction to my services. If you're dealing with specific concerns like acne, Acne Facial is tailored to address those needs. 

Your choice may also depend on your budget and desired results. For a more personalized and luxurious experience, I suggest our "Luxury Tailored Facial Experience", designed to maximize the benefits of your treatment. 

You can also click on each service in the "Services" section of my website to see detailed descriptions of what each treatment offers, helping you make an informed decision.

Are your treatments suitable for all skin types? 

Yes, my treatments are suitable for all skin types. I have alot of experience and hold multiple certifications, giving extensive expertise in working with a wide range of skin types and conditions. Each treatment is customized to address your unique skincare concerns and goals. 

To ensure the best care for your skin, I start with a skin assessment during your appointment and tailoring the treatment accordingly. If you're unsure where to start, I recommend booking a "Signature Facial", which includes a full facial treatment and personalized consultation to help you understand your skin and guide you through the process.

what skincare products do you use in the treatment room?

Proffesional-grade skincare products and tools from trusted brands including Glymed Plus, Image skincare, Face Reality, Dermalogica, Procell, Dermaplane Pro, Esthemax and more! All of the products  I use are FDA approved and PETA-friendly, ensuring safety, quality, and effectiveness . With these industry leading brands,  I provide advanced results driven treatments tailored to your unique skincare needs. 

How often should I book a facial? 

Facials are typically recommended every 4 to 6 weeks to maintain healthy, glowing skin. This timeline aligns with your skin's natural regenaration cycle, helping to keep your complexion clear and radiant. 

However, the ideal frequency depends on your specific concerns and goals. During your appointment, we can discuss a personalized treatment plan to ensure the best results for your skin. Whether you're addressing specific concerns like acne or simply maintaining a healthy glow, regular facials can make a difference.

Do you offer packages or memberships?

Yes I do! please click on "VIP Packages", for membership and package deals.

Are there any discounts or promotions available? 

Promotions are displayed on the main home page with a small pop-up screen and a direct link to book. If you don't see it, please refresh the website. 

Appointments

How do I book an appointment?

To book an appointment, click on the Services tab on our website. Browse through our menu options, including Facials, Advanced Facials, Body Treatments, Cosmetic Services or Waxing, and select the service that best suits your needs. From there, follow the steps to schedule your appointment.

Please Note: If you are trying to book an apointment for Hair color and cuts, please reach Guy directly at his phone number provided.

What happens if I arrive late for my appointment?

If you are running late for your appointment, please notify me at least 10-15 minutes in advance. Arriving late will reduce your session time to ensure we stay on schedule and remain fair to our other clients. 

For example, if your appointment is 60 minutes and you arrive 15 minutes late, you forfeit that time and you will receive the remaining 45 minutes of your session. 

Please Note: I recommend allowing extra time to find parking, as Main Street can get busy. Additional Parking is available behind the building. If you arrive arrive 10-15 mins early, kindly be aware that your appointment will begin at the scheduled time. Your treatment time will still end at the originally scheduled time to ensure all appointments run smoothly.

Do you accept walk-ins, or is it appointment only? 

At this time, I am only accepting clients by appointment, Even if I am already at Gaetano's, I still require an appointment as I need time to prepare my materials and ensure you receive the highest quality service. Thank you for your understanding and planning ahead!

How long does a typical session last?

Please check the session time for the service you are looking to book; it will be listed there. 

Can I reschedule or cancel my appointment? 

If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please notify us at least 24-48 hours before your scheduled time. Failure to do so will results in the forfeiture of your deposit (if applicable) or may prevent you from booking future appointments with us.

I understand that unforeseen circumstances can occur; however, if last minute cancellations become a pattern, we may be unable to accommodate you. We kindly ask that you respect our time as we respect yours.

I don't have a babysitter or can I bring my child or my pet with me? 

You are welcome to bring your child at your appointment as long as they are able to sit quietly or are accompanied by another adult of your party. Please understand that during your service, it is important for us to focus to ensure the best results, 

Additionally, you will be required to sign an agreement acknowledging that we are not responsible for your child's safety or any incidents that may occur during your visit. 

Policies

Do you require a deposit. for appointments?

To ensure fairness and protect my time, I require a 20% deposit to secure all appointments. This deposit will be applied toward your service(s) on the day of your appointment. You must notify me 24-48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Failure to provide adequate notice will result in the loss of your deposit as an inconvenience fee.

What forms of payment do you accept? 

We accept credit cards, debit cards, and cash. 

Please Note: 4% processing fee will be applied to card payments for both services and products.

what is your refund policy for services or products?

Products purchased at our location can be returned only if they are unopened and unused. To ensure the quality and freshness of our products, we do not accept returns of items that have been opened or used. You have 14 days from the date of purchase to return eligible products.

Please Note: we cannot accept returns for products purchased outside of our location, as we are a small business and maintain our own stock.

If you are unhappy with a service, please let us know immediately so we can work to rectify the situation. However, we have a No-Refund Policy on services, as time and resources have already been dedicated to your appointment. We are committed to ensuring you leave satisfied and will do our best to address any concerns.

Are there any age restrictions for any of your services? 

Yes, some advanced treatments do have age restrictions. For clients under the age of 18. a parent or guardian must be present during the appointment and sign an agreement for treatment. Certain treatments may not be suitable for younger clients due to contraindications, especially those involving stronger products or advanced services.

Before and After Care

How should I prepare for my facial appointment?

To get the most out of your facial appointment here are a few simple steps to prepare:

1. avoid exfoliating or using harsh products- refrain from using exfoliants, retinoids, or strong acids 48 hours before your treatment to prevent skin sensitivity. 

2. Arrive 10-15 mins early to discuss and fill out New client intake form for skin history, skincare goals, allergies, sensitivities or medications you're currently using. 

3. Stay hydrated - Drink plenty of water before your appointment to support your skin's hydration and overall results. 

4. Come with positive thoughts and be excited because this is your day to selfcare! 

What can I expect after my facial?

After your facial, your skin will feel refreshed, hydrated, and glowing. You may or may not experience slight redness or sensitivity, which is normal and typically subsides within a few hours. To get the best results:

1. Avoid touching your face to prevent irritation.

2. Skip makeup and heavy products for at least 24 hours. 

3. Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds, as you skin may be more sensitive. 

4. stay hydrated and follow any aftercare instructions provided. 

Will there be downtime after my treatment? 

It depends on the service or treatment you receive. You will be provided a detailed before and after-care instructions, which we recommend following to ensure the best results.

How can I maintain results at home?

Maintaining your results at home starts with following the personalized skincare recommendations provided by Mirriam. For the best outcomes and to ensure product authenticity, we recommend purchasing your skincare products directly at our location, as this guarantees quality and effectiveness.

What if I found the products you recommended for cheaper online? 

While you may find the products I recommend for a lower price on third party websites, its important to be cautious. Products sold online by unauthorized sellers may be:

1. Fake or counterfeit - lacking the active ingredients needed to deliver results.

2. Diluted with fillers - making them less effective and potentially harmful . 

3. Expired or improperly stored - which can degrade product quality and cause adverse skin reactions.

When you purchase directly from me, you are guaranteed to receive authentic, fresh, and effective products that have been carefully selected for your specific skincare needs. Skincare requires monitoring from your esthetician and seasons change which we'll sometimes need to tweak your skincare game here and there.

Additionally, purchasing from your esthetician supports the time, expertise and effort invested in helping you achieve your skincare goals. Your support not only ensures you get the best care and results but also helps sustain my business and allows me to continue providing high-quality services. 

Remember, investing in authentic products while having access to me as you skincare trainer means investing you skin's health and safety. 

Health & Safety

What safety and hygiene measures do you follow?

I take safety and hygiene very seriously to ensure a clean and comfortable environment for every client. My safety measures include:

1. Sanitizing all tools and equipment before and after each service using medical grade disinfectants

2. using disposable supplies whenever possible such as applicators, gloves and wax paper linen

3. Thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting my treatment room between clients to maintain a sterile environment.

4. Washing and sanitizing hands before and after every treatment.

5. Following all industry hygiene standards to ensure your safety and well-being. 

Your health and comfort is my top priority, and I am committed to providing you with a clean, safe, and professional experience every time.


Should I inform you of allergies or skin sensitivities before my treatment?

Yes, please inform me of any new allergies, skin sensitivities, or changes to your skin or health since completing the client intake form. Skin conditions and sensitivities can change over time, and keeping me updated ensures that I can adjust your treatment and products to keep your skin safe and healthy. Your comfort and well-being are always my top priority.
