Dermaplaning is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure that involves using in a manual tool to gently exfoliate the top layer of dead skin cells and fine vellus hair (peach fuzz) from the face. This treatment helps reveal smoother, brighter skin, improves the effectiveness of skincare products, and provides a fresh, rejuvenated complexion. Dermaplaning is known for its ability to create a smoother canvas for makeup application and is suitable for most skin types. Dermaplane pro certified proffesional uses the most advanced techniques of dermaplaning ensuring we minimize the side effects of dry dermaplaning. We donot dermaplane dry here! Who Should Avoid Dermaplaning: Dermaplaning is safe for most, but please notify me if you have any of the following, as we will need to reschedule once cleared: 1. Active acne or severe breakouts 2. Rosacea, eczema, or psoriasis 3. Open wounds, cold sores, or skin infections Avoid dermaplaning if you: 4. Have a history of keloid scarring 5. Are on Accutane (or used it in the last 6 months) 6. Had chemical peels or laser treatments—wait at least 2 weeks before dermaplaning 7. Used Tretinoin within the last 7-10 days (please discontinue before treatment) Products to Avoid Before Dermaplaning (3-5 Days Prior): 1. Retinoids/Retinol 2. Exfoliants (scrubs, AHAs, BHAs, enzymes) 3. Benzoyl Peroxide 4. Strong anti-aging products (peptides, vitamin C) 5.
